Moose

Certified Therapy Dog Director of Pawsitivity

Meet Moose, our beloved Director of Pawsitivity, whose mission is to bring joy, comfort, and tail wagging to everyone he meets.

Moose began his journey with Southeastern Guide Dogs, where he was bred and raised to become a seeing eye dog. For nearly two years, he trained diligently, but in the end, his strong prey drive, especially his fascination with squirrels, led him to pursue a different path. After not passing his final guide dog test, Moose was adopted by Alicia, who recognized his kind heart and immense potential.

Together, Moose and Alicia completed a therapy dog training program through the Brevard County Sheriff's Office Paws and Stripes College and Moose became officially certified as a therapy dog by the American Kennel Club (AKC) in 2020.

Today, Moose is the heart of our office. Whether he's greeting you with a wagging tail, offering a calming presence, or simply brightening your day, Moose has a natural gift for spreading happiness and calm. His title isn’t just for fun; he truly directs the pawsitivity around here.

Oh, and yes—he's still on the lookout for squirrels. 🐿️
